Charter Schools

Some people in our community have started a charter school that will open this fall. My kids will be going into fourth and third grades. They are guaranteed a spot in this school but from what I have heard, the first year at a new charter school is pretty narly. It's naturally the time for working out the bugs in the system but I am leary about my kids and what they will do without for the sake of the school. I would love to have some input regarding this topic. Please share your opinions, etc. Remember, be nice!
